Aspose.Cells for Android

Aspose.Cells for Android is a MS Excel spreadsheet component that allows programmer to develop Android applications for reading, writing, and manipulating Excel spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX, XLSM, SpreadsheetML, CSV, tab delimited) and HTML file formats without needing to rely on Microsoft Excel. It supports a robust formula calculation engine, pivot tables, VBA, workbook encryption, named ranges, custom charts, spreadsheet formatting, drawing objects like images, OLE objects, importing or creating charts, auto-filters, and page breaks through the product API, and much more.

Release Notes: This release supports optimized memory usage when working with large Microsoft Excel files and large data sets inside Android Applications. The issue with the require amount of RAM required for the process is also addressed in this release. Developers can get/set time for generating a PDF documents during Excel to PDF conversion, and can show formulas instead of the calculated values in a worksheet. This release enhances Chart to image and sheet to image modules and fixes important issues for Excel files to HTML file format, applying formatting, auto-filtering data in List objects/Tables, and several others.

Release Notes: This release supports reading password protected MS Excel 2013 files. It provides a method for applying the justify distributed setting while applying text alignment settings on cells. It provides support for the B3 (13.9 x 19.7 inches) and Business Card (90 mm x 55 mm) PaperSizeType options. It improves the chart to image and sheet to image modules. A few other improvements are also made to Aspose.Cells for Android’s formula calculation engine. It fixes a few exceptions when reading and writing Microsoft Excel file formats.

Release Notes: In this release, you can print your desired number of pages generated in Excel to PDF conversion. You can limit the number of pages generated in the output PDF file. It allows you to specify how many pages are generated when converting an Excel spreadsheet to PDF file format. Retrieving External Data Sources’ Details is a useful feature if you want to read out SQL connection data. This may include any or all types of data that are required to establish a connection with SQL Server, e.g. the server’s URL, username, underlying table name, SQL query, query type, the location of the table, etc.

    Release Notes: Support for ODS, XPS, and SVG was added. All important and useful features present in Aspose.Cells for Java are now included. For example, the component can now render workbooks to PDF, XPS, ODS, and SVG formats, and convert Worksheet to Image, Chart to Image, Excel to PDF, Shape to Image, and many more.
