TagEventor is a project to enable radically simple computer usage by creating physical-object-based user interfaces. It does this using commercially available (and relatively cheap), standardized RFID technology in the form of small, simple USB connected contacted card/tag readers and small, cheap tags. The project was started based on products available from the "touchatag" company, which has clients for Windows and Mac, and run their own Web service to enable many interesting Web-based applications. However, no simple, lightweight Linux client was available, and the Web focus meant that some client-focused functionality was not possible. The software is currently a daemon that monitors the presence of one or more RFID tags on a connected reader and generates "system events" when tags are placed on it or removed from it.

Surealived is a effective LVS (Linux Virtual Server) service tester. It is based on epoll and allows you to detect your hosts' state using HTTP, TCP, DNS, exec, and a universal LUA embedded tester. SSL is also supported. Testers are dynamic modules, and you can extend and write your own modules. You can also dynamicaly change the weight or set real states at run-time. Test states are injected into the kernel IPVS table using the ipvssync application. Configuration is highly extensible, so many testing protocols can be implemented easily.

xNBD is yet another NBD (Network Block Device) server program, which is fully compatible with the NBD client driver in the Linux kernel. In comparison with the original NBD server, it provides possibly better I/O performance by using mmap(), concurrent access from multiple clients, distributed Copy-on-Write disk, and live storage migration for virtual machines.

filter_evdev creates a virtual input device from a physical input device. It provides anytime configuration of positive, negative, or custom acceleration or sensitivity for each axis, or remapping axes or buttons as requested, e.g. inverting the two main mouse buttons or making the middle button act as the right button. Configuration can be dynamically changed by text commands sent to a UNIX socket. Commands apply to specific axes, buttons, or keys when moved in specified value ranges, and consist of custom arithmetic operations.
