OIO is a Web-based metadata/data management front-end which is built using Zope and works with Postgresql. No programming is required to build and manage Web-forms or to perform data mining/analysis on the collected data. It is in production at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center for clinical outcomes management and research data. Forms created with OIO and hosted on any OIO server can be downloaded as XML files. Once downloaded from the "Forms library" and imported into an OIO server, the necessary database tables are automatically recreated and the imported forms become immediately available to the users of that OIO server.
NauSite is a Content Management System and enterprise portal. It stores the data in a centralized hierarchical repository easily accessible from a Web browser. The portal interface allows users to conveniently navigate and manage information from anywhere on the Internet. Documents are created either inside Web browser or uploaded to server as files. The management interface provides abilities to publish documents for external access, conduct their accommodation and define workflows or paths of execution for them, as well as common operations such as move and copy. Other features include multiple external Web sites, customizable design and skins, a WYSIWYG HTML editor, preview before publishing or printing, a content filter, indexes and search functions, email integration, role-based access control, and support for multiple languages.
The eGenix mxODBC Zope Database Adapter (Zope DA) allows you to easily connect your Zope installation to just about any database backend. Unlike Zope's ZODBC Zope DA, the mxODBC Zope DA works on Windows, Linux, and Solaris using the same interface. It implements thread-safe connection pooling and multiple physical connects per logical Zope connection. You can safely run Z SQL Methods in parallel, achieving much better performance than ZODBC Zope DA or similar database adapters under heavy load. This makes it ideal for deployment in clusters and hosting environments where stability and high performance are a priority.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
The Autotoolset package complements the GNU build system by providing automatic generation of legal notices, automatic generation of GNITS-standard directory trees, a rudimentary portability framework for C++ programs, support for writing portable software that uses both Fortran and C++, additional support for writing software documentation in Texinfo and LaTeX, and a manual introducing both Autotools and the GNU build system in a unified task-oriented manner.
Zenoss is an enterprise network/systems management application that provides an integrated software package for monitoring availability, performance, events, and configuration across layers (network, servers, applications, environment, etc.) and across platforms (Linux, Windows, Unix, etc.).
